Encourage yourself to go on a different trip, get to know first hand what’s developing at the orphanage. You will help the staff in their daily tasks, and spend a few days with the children.

If you’d like to extend your stay in Mombasa or traveling through Kenya, we suggest that you complete it with other activities, so that your experience can be as enriching as possible.

I want to be a volunteer. What i need to do?

If you have decided to participate in this project as a volunteer, first of all, congratulations. We are sure that this experience will change you forever.

Get in touch with us, and tell us what your goals are. How much time do you want to spend there, what do you want to do, when do you want to go? Ask us everything you want to know, and we’ll help you plan your trip in the best possible way.

How much is the cost of this volunteer program?

First of all, we want to explain you that we are not a travel agency. Therefore, you will not have to pay us anything for our work.

You will need to pay yourself the trip to Kenya through a travel agency or directly through the few airlines that fly regularly to Kenya.

We have established a budget of 150 Euros per week of stay, money that you will pay yourself at the orphanage. In exchange for your help, they will host and provide you with food during the whole time you spend with them. We will not act as intermediaries with your money, guaranteeing you that all your help is going to stay there, where its really needed.

During my stay, i would like to do other activities in Mombasa. How can i organize it?

Mombasa, Kenya can offer you many activities to complete your experience, and help you a little more to get to know the country where the project is developed. You are not travelling as a tourist, but you will always have free time to take advantage.

If you contact us, we will help you decide the things you can do. We will show you some suggestions and you can choose according with what suits your time and your wishes. We’ll help you plan them, and we’ll organize everything so you do not have anything to worry about this when you’re in Mombasa.

The costs of the activities, will depend on what you want to do. Although we will not take care of developing them, we will contact local people to give you a budget. The payments would be made right there to the people who will provide you the services.

What kind of job will i do at the orphanage?

There are many things you can collaborate with during your stay. Help to lift and put the children to bed, clean them, wash clothes, prepare food, clean the orphanage, etc.

But most importantly, it will be undeniably help them grow, enrich their lives, and share a little of your free time with them.

I am in Mombasa and i wish to spend more time there. Can i?

Yes.

You are the one who decides where to start and end this trip. You have no commitment that forces you to stay there the time you had planned, nor will there be problems if you want to stay longer. At all times you will have the ability to decide how far you want to take this experience.
